Wisefig

A note from the founder

Hi — I’m Sankalp Jonna. Wisefig is a review site that exists because I’m about to ship the church management software I’ve been writing reviews of.

The honest reason I started reviewing church software is that I was helping a small church I know set up giving and member tracking. I ended up reading every comparison article on Google, signing up for free trials of half the platforms, and watching demo calls for the rest. The market is loud, the pricing is opaque, and the tools that looked good on a marketing site felt different the moment a real volunteer tried to use them.

So I wrote up what I learned. The reviews on this site are the output: hands-on testing of each platform, organized into the comparisons I wish had existed when I started. If you’re here because you’re shopping for church management software, the reviews come first — the waitlist for Wisefig is just there if you decide none of the existing options are the right fit.

About the writing

Testing is hands-on; writing is AI-assisted from raw notes. I install each tool, use it for at least a week, and capture findings as typed notes, screen recordings, and screenshots. Those raw findings are then organized into the reviews you read on the site, with AI helping me turn messy notes into clean prose. The judgments — scores, rankings, “best for / skip if” calls — are mine.

I think this is the honest framing. Pretending we don’t use AI in the writing pipeline would be a lie that both readers and Google would notice. The full disclosure is on the methodology page.

About Wisefig, the product

The waitlist is for an unbuilt product. We’re aiming for a private beta in late 2026. Pricing will be a flat monthly rate scaled to church size, with no per-user fees and no quote-only enterprise tier. Online giving will run on Stripe at standard processing rates with no platform markup. The product scope at launch is on the home page.

I’ll never rank Wisefig in the editorial reviews on this site. Ranking a non-existent product against shipping ones would torch the editorial credibility that’s the entire point of this site. The waitlist callout is the only product mention you’ll see in the body of any review.
